What Rate Should I Set?

The rate you charge is entirely up to you, but we recommend considering the following factors:

• Age and condition of the vehicle – Newer, well-maintained campers typically command higher rates.
• Sleeping capacity and amenities – A fully-equipped camper that sleeps more people will generally be more valuable.
• Rental duration – Offering discounts for longer hires can attract more bookings.
• Seasonality – Demand is highest in spring and summer, so rates can be adjusted accordingly, while lower rates may help attract renters in the quieter months of October to March.
   

Typical Rental Rates

A typical rental rate for a five-year-old VW campervan with four berths ranges from £75 to £135 per night, equating to £525 to £945 per week. For a motorhome, nightly rates range from £95 to £150, bringing in up to £1,050 per week.
