How long does an owner have to confirm a booking?

Owners are typically required to respond to a booking request within a 24-hour window. Swift responses build trust in our community and help travellers swiftly lock down their ride. If an owner doesn't respond in time, the traveller might need to explore other options.

I have damaged the vehicle, what do I need to do?

Do I have to pay for road tolls and fines?

As a renter, if you incur any road tolls or fines during your trip, these charges will typically be issued to the vehicle's registered owner. However, you're responsible for these costs, and xCamper will subsequently seek reimbursement from you.

Do I have to clean the vehicle before returning it to the owner?

While the cleaning fee covers major tidying, it's polite to return the vehicle as clean as possible. Remember, you and the owner review each other. Keeping the campervan tidy helps you build positive reviews and become an outstanding traveller!

When do I need to return the vehicle?
